A toxic skin reaction, caused by polluted water from the river flowing beneath the school, prompted Lalo to orchestrate a river cleanup. Through collective efforts, parents from the school revitalized the once-contaminated river.

Ríos Limpios embodies the belief that civil society can achieve the extraordinary when united for a cause.
